Meet Dr. Ishibashi
Nora L. Ishibashi, Ph.D., is a clinical social worker in private practice in Chicago and Northbrook, IL. She has a master's degree in the anthropology of comparative cultures from Sophia University in Tokyo, a master's degree in clinical social work from University of Illinois, Chicago, and a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical social work from the University of Chicago.  

Dr. Ishibashi practices psychodynamic psychotherapy incorporating the newest research in neurobiology, attachment theory, and depth psychologies. She received training in medical hypnosis at Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She is certified as a yoga instructor by the Kriya Temple of Chicago and as a public health fitness educator by the University of California at San Diego.

Dr. Ishibashi provides individual and couples psychotherapy; consultation to psychotherapists, teachers, school administrators, parents, and agencies; inservice and training; and public lectures.
